U.S. investing in Indonesia carbon capture

U.S. President Joe Biden announced a variety of investments in Indonesia in areas including food and climate security, including a $2.5 billion carbon capture deal between ExxonMobil and the government-owned energy firm Pertamina. The deal between ExxonMobil and Pertamina would help evaluate the creation of a regional carbon capture and sequestration hub in Indonesia, according to a statement from the White House.
