Negotiators begin crafting a draft treaty to curb plastic pollution

Global negotiators from around 170 nations are to begin crafting a draft treaty in France to decrease the use of plastic. It will be a significant step towards cleaning up plastic waste, which is even found in the most remote parts of the world. Environmental advocates are hoping that this move will push industries to clean up their supply chains to ensure sustainability.
