UK’s climate strategy is termed a missed opportunity

The UK’s new energy plan has been described by green business groups and academics as a missed opportunity that does not go far enough to power Britain’s climate goals. There is fear that this strategy will compromise the country’s leading role in climate action.

The energy plan, which includes support for carbon capture projects, nuclear energy, and offshore windfarms has been found lacking due to the below-listed reasons:
